It is important to understand that both national and international governing bodies are receptive to the voice and concerns of a legitimate trade association, but often show little recognition to most individual companies. By joining the F.A.I.R. Trade Group the firearms and ammunition producers, importers, and distributors have the power to influence and assure that our industry will have a future. Each corporate member benefits from the fact that the F.A.I.R. Trade Group is exponentially more influential that any one company can be. The group is also a member of the World Forum on Sport Shooting, a global clearinghouse of information on the rapidly expanding international efforts to restrict lawful, American commerce.

International commerce in legal sporting firearms and ammunition is legitimate commerce that should not be diminished by controls imposed by international regulatory initiatives such as those undertaken by the United Nations. It is important that our industry has a voice in the national and international forum. Your trade association works with shooting sports trade associations in other countries will help prevent the proliferation of restricted trading environments such as those now prevalent in England and Australia.
